One of my favorite trails in the Cascade Lakes Highway area. This is primarily a summer and fall trail since it will get pretty heavy snow in the winter. If you go counterclockwise you will encounter the uphill first; I like doing uphill first since it gets the hard part out of the way so I can have fun “break” on the downhill. The downhill consists of flowy turns and even a fun rocky section with berms.
Make sure to bring lots of water and maybe some knee pads if you want to go fast on the downhill. I have seen a good amount of kids doing the trail with their family so watch out for people ahead and coming around blind corners.
Again, definitely one of my favorites because of the well-deserved downhill at the end, super fun and super flowy. It’s also a good summer trail since there is a good amount of tree cover protecting you from those UV rays.
